R&B background with the blog title: In Focus: Hampstead in our shoes

Hampstead is one of London’s most picturesque neighbourhoods and the home to our new Hampstead High Street store.

Vibrant, historically rich, and quintessentially charming, there’s no shortage of ways to enjoy a day out here. Celebrating our arrival in the heart of Hampstead, we thought it apt to curate a guide for the perfect day out in our new neighbourhood.

SUNNY MORNINGS

Start your day with a coffee and a fresh pastry from The Nook, a delightful independent café located on a cosy corner street, and an ideal spot to people-watch from.

You’ll want plenty of fuel for the day ahead so head for breakfast or brunch at one of our favourite spots, Ginger & White. Priding itself on its locally sourced ingredients and artisan drinks, meet your friends for a long overdue catch-up here.

Alternatively, treat yourself to a taste of France from La Crêperie de Hampstead. Enjoy an expertly cooked French-style crêpe from the legendary stand on the High Street. Just be sure to get there early to avoid the lunchtime rush.

EXPLORE

Time to stretch your legs by taking a walk around the iconic Hampstead Heath. An essential landmark to embrace the full Hampstead experience - the Heath provides sprawling acres of open countryside and public ponds. Head to Parliament Hill for sweeping views of the capital, enjoy the grounds and art of Kenwood House or explore the Hill Garden and Pergola, a true treasure.

Back in town, have a wander and get lost down the cobbled streets of Hampstead. We recommend exploring the delights of Flask Walk and Heath Street where you can find a charming labyrinth of independent boutiques and antique shops.

Don’t forget to stop and smell the roses! Hampstead High Street has an emporium of flower shops, and with its colourful awning, Sayeh & Galton is a standout.

SPRING EVENINGS

For a perfect Sunday afternoon, head to The Freemasons Arms for drinks and food. From delicious roasts to hearty classics, this pub is full of relaxed charm and comes with a spacious garden to enjoy drinks in the sunshine.

As our evenings get longer, make the most of the sunshine and pop by Oddono's on Flask Walk for fresh, natural Italian gelato, made daily from scratch. Choose from sunset-hued flavours such as mango, strawberry, and lemon sorbet before heading for a nightcap.

Round off your evening by heading to MUST Wine Bar for a refined atmosphere accompanied by a glass or two. Explore their eclectic wine list and discover a new favourite.
